Save the date! New Mexico State University has announced the 2009 Domenici Public Policy Conference will take place Sept. 16 - 17 on the NMSU campus. The conference brings together some of the best minds from across the U.S. This annual event focuses on public policy matters that significantly impact the entire county. Conference speakers and registration dates will be announced later this summer.


"We have a big job. There is still a lot of work to do for the people of New Mexico, especially in the areas of energy and the economy. I know New Mexico State University and the Domenici Institute will play an important role in tackling these issues."

Domenici Legacy activities:

  • Digitizing, preserving and processing the Senator Pete V. Domenici Archive at the NMSU Library
  • Domenici Public Policy Conference hosted by New Mexico State University
  • Planning and construction of a building on the NMSU campus to honor the Senator
  • The formation of the Domenici Institute at NMSU
  • Publication of a book chronicling Domenici's service to the public

The public is welcome and encouraged to participate in Domenici Legacy activities.
